The Eaton-Young Piano Duo's unusual combination of composer and conductor has enabled a remarkable relationship with CCO. With David working as MD and James taking charge of the orchestral transcription, they are able to reach a remarkable synthesis with the singers without the need of a conductor. Their transcriptions of complete orchestral scores enable faithful performances of these operas in intimate and accessible venues.
